Audition Info for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Deerfield Family Theater is excited to announce auditions for our November 2024 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

Auditions are open to adults, teens and children (entering 4th grade and up). They will be held at Jewett Park Community Center, 836 Jewett Park Dr., Deerfield, on Monday, August 19th and August 21st from 6-9pm, and August 24th from 10am-2pm. Callbacks will be by invitation on August 25th.

Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song in a similar genre, and bring sheet music (marked with beginning and end) in the key of your choice. An accompanist will be provided. Dress to move, as there will also be a dance audition. Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one.

Performances dates are November 15-17th and November 22nd-24th, 2024 at Caruso Auditorium, 1801 Montgomery Rd., Deerfield.

Reserve your spot now, and indicate "adult" (HS and up) or "child" (4th-8th grade) when prompted. The audition packet is available to download from our website www.deerfieldfamilytheater.com. Please print the forms (single-sided), fill out completely, and bring them with you to your audition. Walk-ins are welcome, but may have to wait.
